This famous chair was designed by Thomas Lee in 1903 during his vacations in Westport New York. In the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, he tested the first designs on his family. Lee was created a unique Adirondack wooden chair with a slanted back and seat and spacious armrest.

 

Lee show's his design to a local carpenter named Harry Bunnell , who was impressed with Lee's Adirondack chair wooden design, and apparently without knowledge of his designer, secured the patented in 1905.

 

Adirondack wooden chair s is today's favorite outdoor American furniture, is a great addition for gardens, terraces, yards ,coffeehouses because the flat armrest are suitable for setting beverages or food , making it possible to provide individual seating without tables.

Clear all Heart
It's called Redwood resistance due to supports different climates and environmental conditions.
Is the Finest architectural redwood grade.Clear all heart degree characteristics:

  • Contains only heart's wood of the tree.
  • It's free of all defects on one face.
  • The reverse face is allowed slight natural wood imperfections.

B Grade

B grade degree characteristics:

  • Quality grade.
  • Contains sapwood.
  • Limited knots.
  • And other characteristics not permitted in Clear all heart.

 

Stained Finish Options

Stained versions of our Transparent Premium sealant are available if you prefer another wood tone but want to keep the natural wood grain showing by not painting. We have four options:
